I have a Simmons beauty rest mattress that is 30 years old. I flipped it monthly religiously, and it’s still kicking. Even so, I’m thinking about buying a new one. Hmm… The new ones might not be so great.

We bought a Beautyrest from Mattress Firm Feb of 2021. Here we are, not even 2 yrs later, and we also have dips where our bodies lay. As with previous reviewers, we had to provide photos. LOTS of photos. We paid nearly $4000 for this mattress and we, also senior citizens, had to tear the entire thing apart and get pics of everything. Not once, but twice. We sent them in but they requested more. We tore it apart and sent them again, and later that day, they said the indentations weren’t deep enough. The mattress top is puffed up so you would have to run your hands over it to get the effect of your body sinking into it. Their denial letter began “we concur with the findings” and they gave us a 30% off coupon, yet we are not in the position to pay again for another expensive mattress in this economy.
Regret the purchase. Will not be buying another of their products. Will not be buying from Mattress Firm either since their manufacturers obviously do not stand behind their products.

We purchased the Beauty Rest black diamond 6 months ago, We already have body indents 1 and a half inch deep. We contacted Beautyrest Canada and were told to provide pictures. Pictures of the Mattress measuring indents, then of the entire Mattress, then of the entire box spring, then of the frame everything sits on. We are 66 years of age and it was difficult moving it all for us. There was no mention of any of this when we purchased the Mattress. We didn’t have the Warranty to look at before hand. Would not buy again nor recommend to anyone. So far very poor customer service.

Serta bought out Simmons for those not aware. My new beautyrest is anything but comfortable. I had a beautyrest for 16 years and it was wonderful. I’m not sure if the new ownership merging is why quality changed or beds are no longer made to last. Manufacturing has gone stupid. If you have a quality bed then keep the model so long time satisfied customer can replace the bed with same model that made them happy. Regret my purchase for price… medium is hard as a brick and I can already tell it will be dipping and having design issues soon.

We bought a Simons Comfort Pedic Beauty Rest mattress in 2015. The memory foam meant that we could only sleep in the hollows or troughs it had made of our bodies. We started getting back aches and contacted Simons. They were great. They replaced our mattress in April 2019.
The only problem, the mattress again had indents where we slept most often, and a hump developed in the middle of the bed. By December 2020, we had back aches again.
We do not recommend buying a Simons mattress.

We purchased a Simmons Beauty Rest Silver a year ago. After getting it home we discovered that it was not what had been portrayed by the salesman. We attempted to take back to the store, which the salesman said we had 90 days. We went back to the store to exchange it for a different mattress and we were advised at that time there would be a restocking fee, which we were not informed at the time of purchase, but had to buy a $150 mattress cover so we could return it. Looking back wishing we would have paid the restocking fee. I have met all the demands that Simmons requires, only to be told that the huge dips in the mattress are do not meet their criteria. This is the worst mattress ever purchased and am stuck with it. Also it does not cool like they say either! We have not slept in our room for months and sleep in the guest room because of the mattress. Would NEVER purchase a Simmons again!!
