Sagging doesn’t happen to all mattresses. I’ve had a Sealy (queen) for over 20 years and there’s no sagging. I’m replacing it with a Canadian made hybrid.

In reply to Dave B.. Hi Dave, sorry to hear about your sagging mattress. Sagging is unfortunately something that will happen to all mattresses eventually, but unlikely to happen within the timescale you have mentioned. If you have complied with the warranty guidelines e.g used a mattress protector / used the correct bed frame etc, it might be an idea to contact the manufacturer, or the retailer in the first instance and make a warranty claim. If they replace then great. If not, perhaps look at something a little more durable and less likely to sag so soon, like a latex mattress. The Zenhaven is a good choice. Best Wishes

My wife purchased a new memory foam mattress from Art Van Furniture just over a year ago (for an outrageous price). Our first time on this type of mattress and she likes it but I hate it. Where I sleep there is a permanent depression similar to our old box spring mattress that was at the end of it’s life cycle. If I move a few inches over I seem to be sleeping on a downhill slope which is not very comfortable. Haven’t tried moving to the middle of the mattress yet. Afraid I’ll end up with the same depression in a different spot. Actually, I’m about ready to donate this thing to the local dump. The question I have is this normal for all memory foam mattress’ or is it just this one particular one that I’m sleeping (trying to sleep on) now? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
